elements i love, travel, new york ???????????????????????????????    Just spent a very inspiring 10 days in NYC, the vintage-chic look is big business especially in many of the high street retail spaces & restaurants along with  industrial elements & natural oak flooring making for many great commercial fit outs.

Inspired Vintage interiors in All Saints

We were lucky to be blessed with gorgeous Spring weather along with a surprising turn of events including watching the President drive along the street we were staying in & yes there was a huge cavalcade & ALOT of police, sanitation trucks, camera men, with locals and tourists chatting and brimming with excitement, very NYC.

We looked at antiques, went to markets and had a good look behind the scenes at Urban Archaeology an amazing treasure trove of another collector of architectural salvage and the like, but doing it in downtown New York.

Yes please, warehouse living in Tribeca.

It was a rare break (sans enfant) and we considered a life living amongst the walls of the cast iron warehouses in Tribeca, we loved the architecture and the cobbled streets…

It’s always in the detail ~ cast iron buildings

And of course the buzz of a VERY big city ~ until next time NYC xx

the city that never sleeps at dusk
