I love serendipitous moments and since we opened Elements i love… in Surry Hills we have enjoyed plenty.

Last weekend Robert & Christina (lovers of our store) were married, and en route from the church to a stunning reception at Watsons Bay Hotel  they had a special little photo shoot in the store – the light was just right, the photographer was happy and i just happened to catch this really cute moment of them playing mannequins in the window ~ I look forward to more of this!

Over at the warehouse we are excited to be part of the Australian launch of Annie Sloan’s Chalk Paint  (the original) – its a great paint and we have loved using it in the workshop on a number of projects and showroom pieces both to sell and for the launch later this month… if you are a crafter, renovator or restorer you will love it too. Its easy to use, the colour palette is fab & it goes on like a dream especially with the bristle brushes!

Sourcing pieces for the both stores never stops and we have recently had a shipment from India with many one of a kind pieces, along with some custom items we have been working on, a rather large fabulous mirror, hand woven curtains & some console hallway pieces that can be painted to suit your interior…for more information about these items visit the India shipments page

And last but not least a few new arrivals at the Surry Hills store ~ love these pendant lights, great for creating a industrial/NYC feel with mirrored undersides & chunky rope hanger, wall lights also available in this range…

P.S. A collection of Ahoy trader tiles (& the groovy cactus vase)  are now in stock but they never last long so be quick and we have just received a beautiful little delivery of indigo throws – check out instagram for the latest pics…
