As January comes to a close (can you believe it?) and most of us return to our desks to begin work in earnest, its time to make plans for the year ahead…hopefully you are feeling recharged & ready for all the changes that this new year will bring.
No more lazy mornings visiting the markets, afternoon teas, and rosés at dusk…hard to give up after a long summer break!
One change that is already underway is the loss of a long term employee (our daughter ♥) who has accompanied us on buying trips since she was four ~ she is heading to uni and we need to help her move… sadly she cant fit this armoire in her dorm room!
Delighted by the response to our online store late last year we are still excited to add lots more of our fabulous antique pieces, both furniture & architectural ~ we are also adding smaller items like these cute kids deck chairs & the colourful Elements i love tie dye sarongs we designed in India that can be shipped around Australia.
Also on the list of ‘to do’s ‘ is my blog ~ since we launched the new site i can see the need to make a clearer distinction between the online store/website & my blog where i can share favourite photos, finds, interiors that i love, travel and general behind the scenes stuff.
NB. If you have just discovered us & want to keep up periodically with our news you can sign up to our ‘Seasonal Newsletter’ on the home page of our website or if you like what you see here sign up on the home page for an email once a month 🙂
Travel is always a part of our year and we are open to where we will go, France & India are usually on our itinerary along with other places we have book marked…we tend to leave arrangements a little later than we should but that is how we roll and it seems to have worked so far – lots of pics and posts come out of these trips!
and of course antiques & interiors will be our staple through out the year, lots of goodies tucked away in the workshop waiting for their chance to get onto the shop floor… check out instagram for more behind the scenes pics
Look forward to sharing our news and seeing you in store, in person or online ~ Happy Australia Day to all…enjoy your last hurrah on Monday nb.we will be closed.
