Farewell Surry Hills…

Elements i love... at Surry Hills (4)
P1230507 (1000x973) We have absolutely loved our 3 years in Devonshire Street … but as the reality of the tram comes closer and with our lease up for renewal we have decided that we are going to take refuge at the warehouse for now!

P1220608IMG_20140901_183637Weddings, parties, life, dogs, friends and our daily bread from Bourke St Bakery along with  coffee & after work drinks/dinners at Bar H, The Book Kitchen & other favourites will be sorely missed – thank you Surry Hill for the memories!!

Sydney, elements i love, bars & bistros

But don’t despair we are excited to give some love and TLC to the warehouse. For those of you yet to discover this hidden gem, its a rambling warehouse packed full of goodness & is an easy 10 minutes from the city centre over the iconic Anzac Bridge.20150711_155155

With the success and positive feedback from our recently launched online store we are hoping to spend more time making as much of our stock as possible, available on this platform. We have shipped Australia wide & beyond in the short time the site has been live. If you have any feedback to share we would love to hear from you as  we continue to develop the online store…:)

Beautiful pressed metal panel now on our online store

The mix will change a little as we transition, but our goal of having unique pieces, alongside one off antique items and hand finished furniture is where our heart lies so stay tuned for our next instalment ~ who knows where we might pop up!

I will be in touch with more news very soon x

  1. Brooke, the shop was a credit to you. Your beautiful store added more life to the charming street. No doubt you will be missed. I will have no hesitation in going to your other lovely space and will continue to seek out your treasures. XX

  2. Thank you, we have always loved the warehouse especially the scale of everything there! Similarly we have loved the Surry Hills shop, that strip has become quite the destination strip and always topped off with a delicious pork and fennel sausage roll.
All the best with your online venture…keep updating…and we shall see you in James Street! Many Thanks Sal
