The French pieces do have a certain ‘je ne sais quoi’ when it comes to aging, this very original provincial table with drawer was recently added to our online store ~ you can now Search for something specific via the Search tool click on the link to see what we have in ‘Tables & Desks’
Paint and patination isnt just found in Europe, we source things we love in India too. ‘I had to have’ this simple set of doors with intricately carved surround and beautiful hints of colours lost… soon to be online, email for details if you love it!
Mentioned briefly in my recent post about Rome, a city full of faded beauty and colour. At Galleria Doria Pamphilj – I fell in love with tiled floors, time worn wall papers & decaying drapery in the loveliest palette of colours. There is an extra fee if you wish to take photos…a small price to pay to be allowed to photograph this very original Italian Palazzo in the heart of Rome. Don’t you love the colour, detail and unravelling age on these tassles… ?& last but not least sweet Paris for the final touch of pink…coming from Oliver Durbano, his perfume was given to me by a dear friend with the biggest bunch of pink peonies – heaven scent !Bon weekend mon amis ! xo brooke
