Elements i love… has moved to Byron Bay!
2020 has really been a roller-coaster of year already with bush-fires, floods and now Covid 19.
To this end we will be working towards finishing our refreshed website, photographing as much stock as possible & writing some posts for the new website.
This blog will discontinue or possibly morph into something else in the future.
Our new/old warehouse is based in the Arts & Industrial Estate in Byron and will be appointment only once the website goes lives. (will be a govt directive by then??)
In the meantime I will be staying a little social – here on the blog & on instagram.
If you have just discovered Elements i love … here is a brief history. We had a wonderful 3 year sojourn in Surry Hills before the NSW State Govt slated Devonshire Street as the route for the light-rail through this lovely inner city village ~ before that happened we were happily ensconced in a rambling warehouse in Leichhardt. A two-story space with a lot of character, old hardwood floors and high ceilings ~ it was the true heart of our business with showrooms, workshops and plenty of storage space to unload containers arriving from France, Argentina and India.
The foundations of Elements i love… came from a passion for old houses and salvage. Our love of old doors means we will always have architectural antiques that will make you want to build or at least add a room ! In good company, are pieces of antique furniture, decorative elements & a curated collection of charming but sometimes useless objet. All these pieces are sourced by us – locally and in France, Belgium & further afield, India & Argentina. We are drawn to pieces that are real, tarnished old and bold – large scale antique elements that are both time worn & classic.
To create the mix that we love, we also stock the effortlessly chic French Bird lights, these charming and unique creations are hand-made in Paris and add a quirky element to almost any interior.
Even if you are not building, you will find pieces that will make your house a home – one-off creations, moody lighting, garden decoration and art. View our finds online or keep up to date on our Instagram feed here.
Stay tuned for opening dates and events in our beautiful new space in Byron Bay.
